This is the second version of the Coloring module. The original was written while on the bus to WillowTree’s Sum(mer) Sum(mit) of 2019. The idea was inspired by my 4 year old (at the time) being obsessed with coloring apps. Once again I figured I could build it to be without ads for him. The concept of the implementation was that each colorable area would be an SVG and coloring it would only mean setting a color value for it’s fill attribute. The time-consuming task was turning pictures into a collection of SVG paths. I was able to do with GIMP’s magic wand and Selection-To-Path. The reimplementation was mostly focused on the color palette if I remember correctly.

I am still in the process of implementing these modules to work in the new site.
